Evaporator higher?
Thanks to all for answering my first questions. I have a couple more I'm not sure about.
If the evaporator coil is higher than the condensing unit, are there any special considerations for running refrigerant lines?
Are condensate lines typically trapped? I personally have never seen this with resdential AC in Canada, but maybe I'm missing something.

Re: Evaporator higher?
If a condensate line is attached to an air handling unit then it is good practice to trap the line. It reduces the chances of drain tray flooding.
