I've got a piece of string which has had a bit cut of the end, can anyone tell me how long it is now?

Easy question? or perhaps you need more information as there are so many different lengths of string from different manufacturers.

    .

If it's a conventional refrigerant cylinder (as opposed to something you've picked up on your travels) it will have the Tare weight stamped on the cylinder identity plate.

    The rest is arithmetic.

But, beware of refrigerant that you don't know the pedigree of - it may be contaminated.
