Risk Assesments.
Hey all,
The company I have been working for have phased in a risk assessment sheet before carrying out a job. I have found this helps so much before entering a site. It takes us about ten minutes to check out the work area and sum up the job, but because you are writing down any suspected hazards it changes the way that you think about approaching the job, this also gives me the chance to point out any unsafe points to the customer allowing them to put it right before anyone can get hurt.
Why has it took so long for this to come about.....
If you can't see it, it can't hurt you.

Re: Risk Assesments.
Been doing it for some years now.
Depends on the size of the firm I suppose has to how aware they are of the dangers and the legal threats if they get it wrong.Brian - Newton Abbot, Devon, UK
