    oil hi level



    Hi members,

    Except carry over what will be happend if level of oil be extra of normal level in screw compressor?

    Hi Chichi

    There can be excess noise and vibration due to the increased gas velocity in the seperator, caused by the reduced vapour space above the oil level.

    high oil levels in a screw compressor can cause the coalescer to become saturated, reducing the vapor flow and shortening its service life.

    In addition tot he above, you can literally blow out an element and oil carry over will increase in any case.
