    Throttling and Ideal compression:

    Dear friends,

    I have two doubts,

One in throttling, for an ideal gas undergoing throttling process 1-2, will the relationship P1/P2 = T1/T2 hold good? If not why ?

another one in ideal compression. When air is compressed ideally(gamma=1.4) from initial state to final state how will the pressure and temperature be related. will the same relation P1/P2=T1/T2 work......

    Please help me
    It's urgent

    Regards
    Bharath

If it is urgent that you get the answer for this question then you should have asked it a lot earlier.
