Compatibility of Hydrogen wiyh 316/304 Stainless Steel
Hello Refrigeration Engineer Community,
I want to build a waste heat Ammonia Absorption Domestic system. I have another unit on hand, but I would like to build it out of 316 or 304 Stainless Steel. That takes care of the corrosion problem.
Question to those more knowledgeable than myself,
Will the hydrogen leak through the Stainless Steel?
I have researched this topic and haven't found anything to suggest it will.
Thankyou for your assistance.

I think that's what Robur used to make their evaporator coils.
