Need some pricing help

[Industrial tech]

A friend of mine lives in the Boston area and is looking to get central air installed. He told me the prices and they all seem extremly high to me. What would the average cost to have a 1.5 ton system intstalled in that area? Also can someone recommend a good company in that area?
