    car air-con

Could any one tell me where I could find a supplier for car air conditioning, tools to make up and connect the pipe work in the UK, also where I could but the aluminium pipe and the hp hoses in order to make them. I have tried our normal suppliers of HRP and RPW to no avail.
    Thanks,
    Neil.

Neil, The two suppliers that I use are Autoclimate in Shrewsbury 01743 44 55 66 and Motorclimate in Birmingham 0121 766 5006 and they can supply all of the kit to make up hoses and pipes. They are not cheap suppliers, but the do provide a very good service and sell good quality spares which is worth more to me than a cheap price.

Looks like we'll be going to CO2 in about four or five years on automotive, possibly using a 42v compressor. Rumours are that they will also be used as heatpumps for immediate heat in the winter....Not too sure that would be effective in Norway

    Hei karl hoffman.
oh yey it works very good as heatpump in Norway too,
down to -20C,and a good thing is that could heat water upto
100C,I am on vacation now,but I come back giving you some facts about last improvement,in the meantime you can
think why it should not work in Norway, middeltemp for this
country is more like San Fransisco.
