    R134a replacement HFO-1234yf

Maybe not imminent but sems to be getting backing from all the right parties ....

Darned strange name for a refrigerant though, imagine ordering a few kilo's of that after a big night out .......

Doh, won't let me list the URL, but it's talked about on the JARN website, search for the new refrigerant name and it's the first link that gets returned,

Hope i'm not breaking any rules by posting this?

Forget that. It's flammable and highly dangerous. While burning, it releases highly toxic gases. Stay clear of that gas. DUH in Germany already warned the car producers to avoid HFO-1234yf. Click on the link for more info.
