    Refrigerant Recovery Machine

    Hi all,

I have a bit of a problem, well actually a slightly larger than a bit of a problem.

My recovery machine has EXPIRED (was a bit weathered) I'd been meaning to get a new one anyway for a little while, but wondered if anyone knows where they can be bought for a reasonable amount of money. I was going to use either Controls, NRS or SWM or Dean and Wood. Usually I tend to use Yellow Jacket equipment as I've always found it to be good quality and reliable.

    Regards
    James

Autoclimate in Shrewsbury do the Bacharach Stinger, recovers most refrigerants including R410a and is a nice light unit to carry around.

    Re: Refrigerant Recovery Machine

I'm actually having to go over to the states for a few days towards the end of April. I had thought of the possibilty of buying bits and pieces out ther. I'm off to Texas on some business. The only thing I had thought of was the supply frequency is I believe 60Hz over there compared to our 50Hz, so not too sure if it's such a good idea for things like recovery machines.

Autoclimate in Shrewsbury-not too sure where that is Karl. The only place I can recall going there is HighCool.

    Re: Refrigerant Recovery Machine

    Try www.srw.co.uk

These are usually cheaper than HRP/NRS/D&W.

At the end of the day it just depends on how big the sytems are you need to recover & whether you can normally recover liquid or gas as to which one you buy

    Regards
