    NEC inverter split



    ANyone worked on NEC inverters?
    I've got a made in china special here thats cutting out. Who knows where to start with these things?

    Outdoor Model RIH-6867

    The unit cuts out after trying to start the compressor, the compressor LED in the indoor unit flashes.
    The yellow LED marked "H502" in the outdoor unit flashes 11 times, the red LED marked "H503" is lit up, and the green LED marked "H504" is flashing.

    Could be wrong, but.....

    I remember working on a NEC non inverter approx 3 years ago and it was exactly like an LG.

    It's similar, but even more basic than a LG.
    That's why I said "made in china" special, more basic than even a korean brand.

    yep the Nec units were made by LG and rebadged as NEC.
