    Replacing a fan

I have a hotpoint mistral plus and i am trying to replace the fan at the bottom/back of the fridge, the wires on the old fan disappear into a small plastic black box that is attached to a black metal thing at the bottom of the fridge, how do i get to the wires to take them out so i can attach the new fan,the new fan has spade endings on the end of the two wires.

I would be most grateful if anyone could help me with this.

ooohhh stupid me,i've just realised that the steel band around it was a spring fixing, pushed it forward and prised it out with a screw driver and the cover just slid off, fitted the new fan and the fridge is working like a dream now :-)
