    · you continue to be entitled to your holiday leave throughout your ordinary and additional maternity leave and paternity and adoption leave
    Therefore say 4.8 x 40 = 192hrs divided by 8hrs = 24 days entitlement.
    Whereas 4.8 x 39 = 187.2 divided by 7.8 hrs = 24 days entitlement.

Note item 2 Gordon is giving us more holiday!
    5.6 x 40 = 224 divided by 8hrs = 28 days entitlement
    5.6 x 39 = 218 divided by 7.8 = 28 days entitlement
note these are exclusive of Bank Holidays!!!!!

May I just urge caution before taking your employer to task.
But I know some of my fellow employees within our huge multi-national.
Do not get the above calculated hrs?
I assume no-one has raised the question of the new Government figures...YET!

    Happy Holidays Grizzly.
Isn't that a contradiction or do I need to read the whole document ?

    No Brian
You have just pointed out the fatal flaw.
I guess I will remove it as your astute observation makes it irrelevant.
Thanks for pointing out the bleeding obvious!
