Need Manufacturers of R-23 Compressors

Hello,

We have been looking for a compressor that would utilize R-23 or a similar vlt refrigerant, that would provide us with 5 Tons of capacity at and Evaporator temp of -50F and a Condensor Temp of -10F. But we have had a hard time finding manufacturers. Do any of you know which compressor manufacturers make R-23 compressors or the like for this capacity? I am in the US. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A lot of the compressor manufacturers will not have ratings for this application duty. The people who sell the systems usually have to do the sizing themselves as this is considered specialty work.

If you are trying to look for performance data this is probably why you cannot find it.

Carlyle or Copeland will still sell compressors for this, but they usually don't carry a warranty from the compressor manufacturers.
