Samsung RL33SBSW Problem
Hi Guys and Girls,
I've got a problem with my fridge/freezer in that it just locks out, i.e. the indicator neons at the top front stay lit, but the evap fan is at a standstill and the compressor is off...It happily restarts if I switch it off and on at the mains only to lock out again several hours later. I suspect its something to do with the defrost cycle i.e. not terminating the defrost at the evaporator probe, but surely there is a max' time out.
I normally work on supermarket equipment so forgive my ignorance, would anyone know if the Samsung sensors types are PTC, NTC etc...
Any help or suggestions gratefully received.
Cheers RNINE

Yep defrost cycle it is, first check the thermal fuse, then the heater.

Re: Samsung RL33SBSW Problem
aha - I have exactly the same problem !!
where is the thermal fuse ??
and what reading should the heaters be roughly ? (one I measured was about 10k which is seeming quite wrong now I think about it)
many thanks
O.
