    Older Sanyo Cassette fault codes

    Hi all

Having trouble with a Sanyo ceiling cassette about 13 years of age with no model no reference as all stickers are gone and the fault code E1 keeps appearing after several hours of running.
Have checked all components whilst running and all are ok, as well as condensate drain pump which is working as required.

Any tips or info on where to get a list of fault codes.

    Dave

E1 is comms error. Either the wiring is playing up between the units, or the PCBs are probably old and dying, dry solder joints etc.
Can't get parts for them any more, time for a new unit.
I worked on a few older ones that were coming up with e1 and similar errors, changing the PCBs and controllers fixed them. But really hard to get parts (even when you know the model number, which you don't), and I think we bought all of the spare parts left to keep 17 of them going which all eventually played up like this after 13 years.

Did you find any suppliers climacool?
I'm after more sanyo parts myself now, need parts for an indoor wall split. The back chassis plate for a SAP-K241AHA as the rear drain is cracked.

    Hi Guys,

E1 is an error in receiving a signal from a main indoor unit in cae of group control.

if there are two units or more in a group. The main unit is not sending a signal to a remote control.

Possible power off to first indoor unit.

regarding parts in Australia I havn't a clue sorry. I'll ask the parts company in Europe if they know any suppliers.
