Need Help on Design/sizing of Mixing Tank.
I have a process (Dairy) cooling application where the Chiller Side Supply water is 60 GPM (Temp in 5 Deg C & Return water to Chiller 14 Deg C) and Process Side (3 Nos Plate Heat Exchangers @ total Flow rate of 5 GPM ) Supply water to process is 5 Deg C & Return Water from Process Plate Heat Exch 50 Deg C.
We have been recommended a Mixing tank of 2000 Gallons.
Can someone suggest me how to partition the tank for the Hot Well & Cold Well and the locations of the inlet & outlet pipes.
I would appreciate a detailed suggestion as I have no experience in such a installation.
