    dehumidifier problems



    I'm new to ***** systems. I need help with this one, I recencently replaced a compressor in a shop built dehumidifier. It originally had an off brand comp The folks at my local supply house crossed and gave me a copeland replacement comp The new comp will not stay running Itis a model#cr28kq-pfv-980wb Does this comp require a start capacitor as well as a run cap also what are things i should check for Any info would be greatly appreciated kfox@miindustries.com or keithwfox@yahoo.com thanks Keith

    Yes, that compressor needs a start and run capacitors.
