    Glycol!?!



    Hi All, i'm currently commissioning an ht pack at a supermarket, all standard stuff, but it has a heat exchanger in the discharge heating glycol, pumped through ceiling cassettes for heating. My question is simply, what is the proceedure for charging the glycol, and does it have to be bled? it has a dosing pot and a pressurisation unit.

    A liquid system needs venting.

    Check the pipework to see if any AAVs have been fitted at the high points, life may get easier
