Whirlpool American fridge freezer - no water

Hi, the water dispenser is no longer dispensing water, the pump runs but no water comes through. The water supply is ok as the ice bucket still fills. I tried fitting a new filter but no difference. The water supply goes through the filter then connects to a sensor unit and splits one way to the ice compartment and the other to the cooler bucket at the back of the fridge, then from there through the door to the dispenser. Any ideas??

The water could be frozen in the water line or the watervalve is bad.

There is NO water pump, the output of chilled water is from mains inlet further chilled by the fridge section. I suspect the coil of tube inside the fridge has a blockage due to ice formed by air from the freezer, which is how the fridge works. Peform a full 24 hour unplugged defrost with both doors open and start again. then ask again if symptoms persist. £50.
Takes a licking, keeps on ticking.
