    Steam Condenser and heat pump

We are trying to recover heat from a steam engine condenser to give a feed water temperature of 85C but a heat pump temperature of 275C. Our steam input is at 150 PSI. Does anyone know of a heatpump capable of working at these temperature ranges.

    I wouldn't think so with normal/usual refrigerants.

What is your steam temperature, can you not use that directly?

Also, interested to know why you want water at that temperature, 275°C.

We are using thermal oil at 275C to generate steam using a thermal oil steam evaporator. Obviously we want to condense the steam after it has gone through the twin screw expander down to the inlet temperature of the steam evaporator 85C and the opposite side of the heat pump would be to reheat the thermal oil to 275C

This sounds like an MVR system. Mechanical Vapor Re-compression. So, if the expander you use is suitable for the expansion process, the heat pump as you describe it is doing the same thing in reverse of the expander. As I see it, if you find the expander you find the compressor. More or less.
If all else fails, ask for help.
