Re: You say "frick", we say "sabroe"
Should the end users in the USA have any worries about obtaining parts for Sabroe, Sthal in the future? Are these compressor,s going to sill be manufactured?

Re: You say "frick", we say "sabroe"
Hi everyone let me try to explaine.
First there was STAL from Sweden and Sabroe from Denmark.
Then Stal became Sabroe.
Then Sabroe became YORK.
Then York became Johnson Controls.
With Johnson Controls there was also Frick and now the manufacture Fricks and Sabroes together to cut costs.
The only exeption is the controller.
Sabroe uses UNISAB and Frick uses Millenium / Kwantum controllers.
All the brand names from Johnson Controls refrigeration are now.
Sabroe, Stal, Frick, Gram and York.
Greetings,
Bart.

Re: You say "frick", we say "sabroe"
if any one cares the basic Frick compressor is based on the Dunham-Bush compressors of the 1950's they are in turn patented by Svenska Rotor Maskiner of either Sweden or Switzerland

thanks Josef, I knew it was one or the other. The compressor design is very reliable no matter who puts the package together.
