    Plate freezer enclosures

One of our customers got HZ plate freezers with Open plates. Now he plans to put up insulated enclosure for that. But using typical Hinged doors is not possible as there are conveyors etc in front of the freezers.

Are Night Blonds good enough for that? Can they be exposed to -25 deg temp directly?

I am not sure but DSI Denmark has a similar product for same applications.

    Any inputs?

I'm not sure if I would use night blonds

We custom make covers for our horizontal freezers, I'm not sure what they are made of tho.

so I'm guessing if you find the right material anything is possible.

I have seen people use plastic coated tarpaulin and it cracks up and start falling apart after a few months.

Took some pictures earlier today with this in mind

I have no idea what material it is made of.

The stripe you see on the middle of it is for the block dividers since on this freezer they are about 2 inches higher than the plates, and without the reinforcement the fabric gets worn out over time, it also makes it easier to fold when they take it off.
