Sporlan Sight Glass
Hey lads,
I have about 45 Sporlan See all 1'' 3/8 ( Model ac-20)sight glass's to fit to some liquid lines on a big job here, they are the 2 piece type(drill a hole in the pipe, braze the body on and screw the glass in). what im wondering is do they need an 'o' ring or teflon seat of some sort.. they were not supplied from our factory with them but i feel this is a bit strange..
any info would be great

Re: Sporlan Sight Glass
I don't know. Why not phone sporlan or it might be parker now as i think they have been bought out and ask thier technical guy. I've found them to be very helpful.

Re: Sporlan Sight Glass
most sporlan stuff use what they call a knife edge seal . no need for gaskets but the torque for tightening is important
