Re: Any places to purchase cheap tools online?
Cheap are usually of low quality. Low quality can break. Breaking a tool during work can injure you. Injuring means you will not be able to work and ......
Go for the best tools available, they are also the cheapest, no need to replace them.
Ridgid, Rothenberger are only 2 of this small list.

Re: Any places to purchase cheap tools online?
Check out ebay, you can sometimes get tools that are the same that you buy at the fridge shops, that blokes have bought and no longer need or that are retireing. Or ebay stores that buy in bulk from the suppiler and pass the savings to us.
The only thing you have to watch out for iks the exchane rate and postage.
Had many succsessful buys over the years and saved a lot.
Good luck

Re: Any places to purchase cheap tools online?
Do a search of the American ebay
quoting refrigeration tools.
There are several good sites that ship worldwide.
It's well worth the trouble provided you don't mind the wait for the shipping!
Be sure to check out the shipping rates first!

Re: Any places to purchase cheap tools online?
Chemi has made an important point there. Cheap tools can break more easily but more importantly, sometime, they don't even do what they proclaim to. Then, it's not even a tool. Your best bet is to research by asking around for the best (quality) tool.
Online shopping may give you the best prices for the right tool, but remember you want after sales service as well.
Choose carefully to avoid ending up with three tools that claim to do the job while in fact only one really does.
