Job Oppurtunitys in Canada

Giday.
Im heading to Canada from New Zealand in November to work the winter there at a ski resort. Ive been floating the idea in my head of possibly staying over there for longer and trying to find work with a refrigeration/HVAC company.

The thing that i might find difficult though is that im an apprentice at the moment and was wondering if there are many company's out there who would be looking to take on an apprentice as it starts coming into summer. I would be hoping to work on the west coast either Vancouver or Victoria.

Does anyone have any info on the job situation in those areas and knowledge of companys in our Trade
