If I want to make ice with an absorption chiller, is ammoni the only real choice for refrigerant?

I know that water/lithium bromide won't work because the water is the refrigerant. Water won't get cold enough to make ice without freezing the refrigerant itself, so that's out.

Are there any other common chemicals that can be used for this application?

For example, I know that propylene glycol and ethylene glycol both boil under vacuum. But both of those boil at higher temperatures at atmospheric pressure, so a deeper vacuum would probably be required. And both of those have freezing points below that of H2O, so they have potential.

The question is will either of these work with LiBr as an absorber? Or with another absorber?

Are there any other pairings that would work for this?
