Heat Reclamation
I have a refrigerator that is 3300 sq ft. I have designed hydronic system for frost protection system that requires 5 btu/sq ft. There is 3/4" PEX tubing used at 24" OC
I have been asked how to pipe and collect the heat off the compressor and use it for the frost protection.
I assumed there would be some sort of heat reclamation tank that could be used. I am concerned that the frost protection system would not use enough heat off the compressor. I am trying to find out more information on the compressor. Freezer is going to be at -4F.
Has anyone seen a product used for this? If so what is the name of the product
Has anyoned designed something like this? If so can you point me in the right direction
Thanks
