Retrofit on carrier 30bq035
Hi everyone.
Next week i'll make a retrofit from R22 to R407C on a chiller 30BQ035 /100 kw CARRIER.
I'll change the semi-hermetic compressor to a new one and Carrier's company ask me only to fit new oil and new drier cartridge twice without changing expansion valve or anything else...
Just need advise and comment.
Yours sincerely

Go with the advice from Carrier, they should know their own product.
R22 TXVs are often found of R407c systems.Brian - Newton Abbot, Devon, UK

Re: Retrofit on carrier 30bq035
Thanks everyone and hello.
I'll change the compressor tomorrow morning: six cylinders, 250 kgs with the valves. I'll fit new POE oil inside after cleaning some parts of the refrigerant circuit with OZEON CLEAN.
I'll change the oil and refrigerant a second time that's why i need 2 driers...
I' m just afraid of the glide with the R407C in heating mode inside for the defrost of the outside heat exchanger in winter.
