Communication Protocol
Does somebody know (Lin ?? ) if the communication protocol between inside and outside unit is somewhere available (Daikin, and/or Mitsubishi?)
A French company did it with a PLC/Mitsubishi combination and uses it to control dampers in a ductsystem.
Also the Belgium distributor made there own BMS system.

I must agree communication protocol is the most secretive part. especial about network control. they never release out any info. about the proprietary protocol. never! so they could sale expensive BAS system or gateway.
If u stick wanting to know something about it, u could monitor the communication line and guess how they work, or hack the driven chip.
I am still looking for network control info. about trane (trace? summit?), york(ISN?),carrier(CCN) and mcquay.
