Expansion of co2
Hi,
is there a calculation to tell me how much duty a comp will loose if the suction line temp increases by 5k from designed whilst still maintaning suction temp?
Cheers Rowan

Re: Expansion of co2

Re: Expansion of co2
How can suction temp increase while staying constant? Anyway you received an answer on R744.com website already.

Re: Expansion of co2
Not very good at getting round the 744 web site, just checked it and it said no views and no replys.
The problem i have is with a co2 pack running 50 or so cabs. the pack seems to be struggling on duty. Cabs are making temp however run with very wide superheats. Thought that if the gas was returning warmer than the design that this would mean that the gas would be less dense than design and knock the duty of comps?? Just didnt know by how much. Co2 is very ew to me so i'm still trying to grasp it and any advise would be great.
Cheers
