Email adresses
Some of you know I had troubles with my HD.
First HD is still working now as a slave. Seems nothin is lost but unable to start it up as a master HD.
I want to add the emailadresses in my new OUtlook and if possible also the on that HD stored emails themself.
Where can I find them. I searched everywhere but didn't found them.
I'm unable to start Outlook on the slave HD.
Any recommendation for an image program?

Hi Peter,
You could try these sites, they are some forum-like sites, which can be searched for solutions, or where you can ask for advice.

Hi Peter,
well being an ex computer repair techie, let me tell you how to do it.
If it is outlook (not outlook express!) (part of MS Office) then do a search for the following in the old HD:
*.pst
it should find one called outlook.pst
Remember where the file is (ie C:\.........etc)
The open the working outlook and choose [File] then [Import & Export]
Choose the option 'Import from another program or file'
Click [Next]
Choose 'Personal Folder File'
Click [Next]
Browse to the file you found called outlook.pst
Click [Next]
Thats pretty much it!
Hope that helps!
(Outlook express is much harder to do, so if you need to do that one then I'll tell you how - Just ask!)

It's better to keep your mouth shut and give the impression that you're stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.
