    Cooling loads

    Hi everybody, im new here.

I am currently in the process of building a website for my new business.
I wanted to include a simple cooling load calc' for the customers to use so that the site can generate some rough quotes to give the customer a idea of the costs.
Does any one have any rule of thumb forumla's i could use to calculate KW needed for small commercial and domestic rooms.
Also I need one for conservatories.
    Can anyone help.

    Thanks

If you do a search on this forum for 'rules of thumb' you should find quite a few answers to you question.

You will also find several of the AC manufacturers have them on their websites.

    Re: Cooling loads

We use a typical 150 Sq of floor area = 1TR of AC load for Domestic & 100 Sq Ft of Floor area = 1TR for comercial customers.
Y9u however have to ensure that there are no excessive heat loads in commercial cases. But this works very fine in Indian conditions.
