    Carrier 410A heat pump question

On a carrier unit model # 265ANA060-B - another company installed but did not do start up. we are there doing other work and were asked to check it out and start the unit. We have 46 psi on the low side and 227 psi on the hi side. sat temp on lo is -2F and sub cool is 13 F with the line at 64F = sat temp of 77 F - line set is approx 30' (underground to crawlspace) unit pressures are better in heat pump mode. but pressure drops when back to cooling - now I don't usually work on Carriers and this one has a TX valve at the coil (normal) but also a orifice at the condensor? we have added 12oz with no pressure increase. I feel there is a restriction at the coil or faulty TX . thanks for any input

The pressures are readow but you don't give any idea of room and ambient conditions.
Usually you will have a TXV for cooling and an acurator for heating.
It is possible that the TXV valve is stuck or that the accurator is bocked or jammed.
