Hot gas defrost
Got a small williams through the wall unit with hot gas defrost. Evaporator has frozen up and is thawing out over the weekend.
What is a suitable defrost termination temperature for such a contraption?
3C seems a bit cool to me to ensure all the ice has melted but i'm more used to electric defrost.

Re: Hot gas defrost
15degrees then you know that any ice on the coil is defrosted

Re: Hot gas defrost
The probe is at the end of the coil. I think i'll put a new probe on it just to be sure anyway.
