I"m employed in a company specializing in the installation
and servicing of commercial refrigeration. One of our client
in supermarket refrigeration wants all of his evaporators to be flushed out by this 141 B agent. Many knows that
this refrigerant replaced the R11.Is it safe to use?

    .

What you are proposing to do is illegal in this part of the world, consult you national laws.

Secondly, read the manufacturer's MSD sheet - that will explain the hazards.

Please, explain what kind of alcohol and where to look for it. Some alcohols (like medical) are diluted in distiled water and as we all know water is no-no in refrigeration system.

Isopropyle 99.9% no water, Tentured industrial alcohol should be fairly water free.

I use Iso propyle most often my self, give it a good hard push with nitrogen after flushing it clean then warm up while flowing the N2 through it for a minute then vac, if you have a cold trap skip the prolonged D-N2 purging and go streight to vac.
