    phenolic foam panels

Has anyone used Phenolic foam panels for Cold stores. One of Navt Tenders is specifying that the panels should be in Phenolic foam . Those are meant for fire proof category. But I think making panels out of this foam could be difficult as I have seen that the cell structure is rather different than PUF foam.

Phenelic foam is ok ...what ever you do don't go to polystyrene panels ... they're extremely dangerous in a fire situation. They were very common in the UK for many years but in a fire situation they're extremely dangerous ...very frightening to see the speed at which they propogate a fire within a building.
