Insulation betweem separate Fridge and Freezer
Dear all
I need to ask some basic information:
I have a separate fridge and freezer units stack on top of each other (fridge on freezer). the first freezer that I bought did not freeze and the guy who replaced it suggested that I should place some wood between the two of them to stop electrical interference?
My questions is whether this a) necessary and b) if so how thick does the wood need to be between the fridge and the freezer?
Many thanks in advance!
James

Re: Insulation betweem separate Fridge and Freezer
it has nothing to do whit the electrical, the condensor behind the to units needs enough cooling, see you have ventilation on the back.

Re: Insulation betweem separate Fridge and Freezer
Yep, and even better if you can keep the temperature of the two condensers apart. what i mean is that the warm temp of the condenser below may not overheat the condenser on top
a small computerfan works great
