Can you tell us anything about the site. Is it just a forum site or can you use it for other puposes. The only site i can find anything near what you list is www.hvacmall.com.

    Regards

As it happens, they were quite anal about the mere mention of my books. Or even the slightest hint. To the extent that I tried a simple one word sig "Author", and they wouldn't allow it.

You have to remember that BOSS sells his software there as you do on you site, By the way I have tried to get on your site a number of times but I forget my password and every time I got a new one it still wouldn't work Did you put the hex on me?

Personally I think its his loss. I did a lot of good over there. But its his site and he can have whatever rules he wants. Not a problem.

When you signed up, you were sent an email with instructions to click on a link, which activates your membership. Did you do that?

I find that people generally have self-inflicted hexes.

I find that there are three problems when working with computers.

Hardware problems (not a common fault)

Software problems (not a common fault)

Fleshware problems (99% of all problems arise here)

Gary, I had a quick peek at your forum.

Question, why to you not allow people to browse your forum without first registering? Is that not a form of anal-ism

Dez, it would seem you've solved the problem. 24 visitors this morning (CST)... and two members...

I changed computers a while back, and had to try to remember this sites url. I tried refrigeration-engineer.co.uk and had all sorts of funny things happen. Some things worked and others didn't. I thought I was going mad until I tired the .com address and everything started to work ok.
