Re: Refrigerant Handling
As far as I know the C&G does not have an expiry date.
You may find however that the new F-Gas Regs may change all that.
There is a lot of info on the forum, try a search on F-Gas.Brian - Newton Abbot, Devon, UK

Re: Refrigerant Handling
Hi suctionheader,
I have just been reading the last service matters No.13 from the IOR service engineers section. What it has to say is that the current minimum legal requirement (a national refrigerant handling qualification City & Guilds 2078 or CITB refrigerant handling card) will be superseded by the new F gas refrigerant handling qualifictions City & Guilds 2079/CITB J11. And holding one of the current qualifications will allow you to work untill July 2011 by which time you must have taken the new F Gas Handlind qualification.
Hope this helps.
