remote thermometers
I'm looking for a wireless remote thermometer that I can place the probe on the suction line and get the reading from a short distance away, about 25 feet. What i want to do is to put the remote probe on the suction line in the blast freezer and get the suction temperature while I'm in the compressor room looking at the suction guage.I want to be able to calculate the super heat with out freezing my @#$@ off!!! . Can anyone recommend some thermometers like this??

Re: remote thermometers
Never heard of such a thing, infrared thermometer, yes.
i will suggest you to use a regular electronic thermometer such as Elliwell or Dixell, keep it in the machineroom but use a long wire for the sensor down to the blast freezer.
That is what I would have don if I were you.
