Energy use of Air Con compared to Natural Gas
Hi guys,
I am looking at creating a spread sheet with some charts etc looking at the cost of heating your home/business with Air Con compared to Natural Gas. When an A/C unit is rated at 5kw heating, does that mean it is giving off 5kw of heat, or, it is using 5kw of electricity? and if its using 5kw what is the timescale of that? I see some domestic boilers are rated at 16kw, but does anyone know how much electric they suck??
any thoughts, facts, or ideas are very welcome!!
thanks
Byron

You seem to be asking some very basic 'duty' questions, is this for a study course?
