Condensor Fan Failure
Dear All,
I am an Automotive AC Service Engineer . Started this job a month ago .
Can anyone help me in letting me know what could be the problems that I can observe on the AC System when the Condensor Fan Fails .
How Critical is the Condensor Fan for a proper functioning of the AC System ?
Best Regards,
KRK

Re: Condensor Fan Failure
The cond fan is a very important component on a system.
If the fan fails to work correctly the heat will not be rejected and therfore the system will overheat and fail.

Re: Condensor Fan Failure
You'll get HP trips whenever the vehical is stationary without a working condenser fan.
I know because my ute doesn't have one! Factory fitted ford a/c it is as well. Before next summer I'm going to have to fit a thermofan and wire it to the compressor clutch solenoid.

Re: Condensor Fan Failure
No condenser fan on a mobile means driving at a minimum of 43mph (69kph) to ensure sufficient airflow through the condenser.
