"Ammonia cylinder removal"
Hi all...bear with me as this is my first post.
I am newly employed at a plant where 2 empty cylinders have been stored for a couple of years.
I am the first to admit that I don't have a lot of experience in this type of plant, but...the reason I was given for this storage was in case they had to pump down the system, yet there is no high pressure pump, etc., for doing this. Is this a normal situation, seems scary to me!
There were also 3x200 litre barrels of ammonia/oil waste stored out back (no one knew what to do with it), it is now gone to disposal...how are your waste oils handled?
Thanks for any information...
Rob
