LG Fridge problem
Hey guys/girls. I have a LG fridge model #GR-S642AT. The other day the front panel went blank and all that is showing is a H. I pulled the back panel off and cleaned all the dust from the little fan, turned it back on and the screen was back to normal and all seemed to be good. But after a few hours it went back to the H. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thank-you

Hi Big Minge.
I guess you really need to wait for Paulh, he seems to be our white goods specialist amongst many other topics!
In the meantime if you follow the link above it will pointyou in the direction of the Oz LG site.
Where you can obtain a Owners Manual for your fridge.
Follow the Owners Manual Icon.
Cheers Grizzly.

Re: LG Fridge problem
Not really a LG fridge specialist. I don't have many fault codes for them.
But I've never heard of a "H" by itself.
Normally it shows up two or three fault code letters.
F= fan,
So I'm going to guess you have an open circuit defrost Heater.
You'll definitely need parts, so you may as well call the LG service agents.

Re: LG Fridge problem
ANSWER TO LG .. H -FAULT-
IN behind the freezer back panel where evaperator is.
you have a sensor 2 oranges wire.and a fuse blue and brown connected together by one plug.the fuse is stuffed. replace and no more H code. fridge can not defrost with stuffed fused. so will not get cold..I think i am a genius........
