British Qualifications
The term 'engineer' in the UK is more geared towards technical, hands on people such as populate this forum.
On my side of the Atlantic the term is more for pencil pushers and designers.
I have been sent a resume from a UK lad, and he lists his Qualifications as
ONC Mechanical Engineering
HNC Mechanical Engineering
FDSC Mechanical Engineering
It sounds more like a machinist to me, are these acronyms "ONC" etc familair to anyone here?
