Hi, i would like to know the avarege temperature difference the air entering the condenser and the temperature of the air leaving out the condenser.
Thanks alot

Re: Temperature drop in condenser
Probably around 10 c but would depend on duty and ambient temperature condenser coil cleanliness etc

I would agree with Philfridge around 5 to 10

Re: Temperature drop in condenser
Normally we design on 30 F temperature difference but what we usually get uin practical is 20-25 F IN/OUT difference
Our nose is our personal air-conditioning system: it warms cold air, cools hot air and filters impurities

Re: Temperature drop in condenser
Hi sullie,
sorry but i do not know whether your condenser means air cooled OR water cooled OR hybrid type.
anyway, i learn it has direct relation to the web bulb temperature in ambient of installation.
narrow temp difference = bigger coil and vice versa.
it is economy of scale we should look into.
design is very subjective. but for air cooled, i use dT of 15K normally. BUT, do not neglect wet buld temp; it is important.
hope that helps.
