    Cool York Twins



    Hi Everyone!
    I´m Looking For Some Help Regarding A Burn Out Compresor In A Package Ac(york 25 Tons), I´m Suggesting Changing Both Compressor But Some Genious Up There(boss) Suggested Changing Just One, Can I Get Some Help To Talk This Genious Out Of His Idea, Thanks.
    P.s. Or If I´m Wrong, Please Correct Me

    If both compressors are on the same system (ie share a common suction and discharge)then yes you would definately change both comps as the other motor could be damaged.

    Even if you change both compressors at the same time, they could also fail if the system is not properly cleaned up.

    Spend the time and money to change one compressor and do a very good job of cleaning the system and installing new acid core driers and changing the oil in the remaining old compressor.
    If all else fails, ask for help.
