hi there
Just found this site and must give it top marks ,great to find guys that know what thay are talking about.Been working in this industry for over 20 years but last year made the big jump to go out on my own as a subcontractor.Just comeing to the end of a contract fitting 180 a/h vrv in a hotel and now on look out for more work.So if anyone out there is looking for labour,drop me a line.

There seems to be a growing army of one man bands looking for more work. We shall see how this all pans out but this 'skill shortage' everyone goes on about may well have disappeared by the end of this year ...
I spoke to an agency recently who has been sending me more than a few candidates if they felt there were more decent engineers available for hire than in recent years. The reply was definitely -the market is quite flat and getting worse.
