Pump Separator Sizing
Hello all,
I'm new to this site, so I looking forward to learn much from everyone.
I'm writing a program that would size a pump separator vessel. part of the process, i have to calculate the separation area required. I'm looking for the exact formula. I had it once, but i lost my other program.
So, any help would be greatly appreciated.
If you think there's another program that would do the same thing, please let me know.
Thanks,
Airryda

I recomend Coolpack from a danish university it`s free, and Dircal from Danfoss.

Re: Pump Separator Sizing
Have you tried searching the forums yet? This has been covered several times. Do a search on liquid vapor separators... you'll find more than several threads on this subject.
Here is one to get you started off...
